My hubby and 9 yr old daughter both are jokesters. Always telling funny jokes and pulling pranks. Laughter can be a great stress reliever, a great distraction and has proven to have good health benefits by researchers. I was given the opportunity to review a book by Klutz, "The Encyclopedia of Immaturity". I knew after reading what it was about this book was definitely one my daughter would enjoy, and share with friends. The very day it arrived she sat down to read it even before getting a snack. NOW THAT'S AMAZING! She became so engrossed in reading page after page she took it up to her room so that the television wouldn't distract her. (I know! I too was in shocked.) After reading and looking through a couple pages it began. "Hey mom, look at this!" She began showing me things she would like try out, test out, funny things daddy would love, things were all so goofy it made me laugh out loud. My 19 yr old son has already borrowed it twice from her to show his friends and his girlfriend they all loved it.

Cleaning is just a job we have to do every day. If we slack off for even a day someone is bound to notice. If we use harmful chemicals no one notices, but we may all have health concerns in the future. The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that, “of chemicals commonly found in the home 150 have been linked to allergies, birth defects, cancer, and psychological abnormalities.” Pretty Scary!! Being a parent with four children I can't help but be concerned about my children's health, environment and world around them. There is so much we can't control, and very few things we can. What type of household cleaning products to use is 1 thing we do have control over. Small but powerful in its own way. I've been meaning to try out Green products.
Ecostore contacted me and offered 2 products for review. Ecostore offers Eco friendly, non-toxic cleaners without all the harsh chemicals. Their products are from plant based ingredients not only protect our health, but our planet too. I chose the Citrus Spray Cleaner and the Baby Shampoo.
Baby Shampoo
It's no secret my 3 youngest children suffer from Eczema, all at different degree's, especially during the winter months. My daughter and 4yr old son can use regular shampoo to wash but the baby gets a very, very dry scalp from all of the shampoo's I've tried from Johnson & Johnson's to Aveeno. He had allergic reaction & broke out in a terrible rash from a Lavender Shampoo scent I tried just a few weeks before receiving the Ecostore baby shampoo. I barely washed his hair once a week hoping the oils on his scalp would help.
I used Ecostore baby Shampoo the 1st time last Monday and again on Thursday. At first I didn't really like the smell of the shampoo and reading the label I was a bit hesitant because it named a lot of flowers. But no harmful chemicals and labeled for sensitive scalps I went ahead and gave it a try. I put a little bigger than a quarter size in my palm and rubbed my hands together then on the baby's head. Lathered nicely. Rinsed clean. When his head dried I sniffed. It just smell clean! Not perfumey at all. It's been over a week no breakouts, no rashes, no dry skin. We found Shampoo!! Thank you Ecostore.
Citrus Cleaner
The best way to test the Citrus Cleaner was to challenge it to my regular everyday cleaner. Knowing I really needed to clean the stove hood. I sprayed half with Citrus cleaner the other half with my leading brand cleaner with Oxy bubbles. The spray did not run like my leading brand. It has a snap down cap which is nice with having the kids and the smell is a light pleasant orange citus smell. Not over powering at all.
Not only is the Smell pleasant but it cleaned better than my leading brand. I was pleasantly surprised. Switching to Green eco-friendly products will be alot easier now that I know Ecostore cleaner made my job easier and cleaned it without hazardous chemicals. We'll all breathe a little easier. I feel good about taking my first steps in a healthier cleaning for my family.

Boys must to have Rugged Toys. Toys that are built to last. Power Wheels Fisher Price Stinger XS is a Dune buggy style, off road traveling, 2 seater with two speeds of fun. Comes with a 12 volt BPRO. We chose the Power wheels Stinger XS because of its seat style, pedal location and most resembling a go-kart for driving. Next year our son is getting into baby-kart and hubby thought the Power Wheels Stinger XS would get him used to a steering wheel, speed and pedal.
Stinger XS is a two seater so both my boys can ride at the same time. There are Safety Velcro Seat belts to keep them safe while they ride(no standing or trying to jump out. A stick shift, located on the right like a real car, has forward and reverse. Front Storage compartment lets my little guys bring along treats and their cars for the ride. The Power Wheels Stinger XS operates on two speeds 2.5 and 5 mph. Right now for my just turned 4 yr old to start out we've placed the speed on 2.5 mph. The reverse speed only goes 2.5 mph. Comes with large plastic tires for off road traveling. These don't work so great on the cement but you can judge from the video. Monster Traction allows it to move through the grass and leaves without a problem. A 1 year Bumper-to-bumper Warranty is included with the Power Wheel Stinger XS. 6month warranty on the 12v battery. (info located on pg 24 of Manual) This is fantastic!!
Toys R Us offered a extended warranty for an extra $60 which we did not take.

Hubby was ticked at 1st. He kicked himself and wanted to pay Toys R Us to put it together. (They do offer assembly services) After looking at the instructions, he put them down and tried to wing it. I stood up handed him the instructions and said," start from 1! If there are any pieces left your gonna take it apart and start over again!" So he began. From 1. :) Of course Daddy had a Pit crew to help.
A 12 volt battery provided. Needs to charge about 18 hours before 1st use.
Places in the rear and plugs right in to the vehicle. All in all hubby took a little over 2 hours to put this together. When he was done he said, "That wasn't bad at all! No way I'd pay somebody to put that together"

I would of liked to see a better seat belt feature on this Possibly with shoulder strap feature

Here's a video I took describing some of the features and the boys going for a wild ride. The speed is set for 5 miles an hour.
Switching to high gear in a snap. Remove the screw on the side of the gear shifter this will allow the lever to go all the way forward which will be 5 mph. Middle is 2.5 mph and back is Reverse.
As you see the Power wheels Stinger XS drove over gravel, grass, up hill, down hill, curbs and curbed corners. My boys have a blast riding it.

My lap top is in the shop. I'm sick to my stomach, my head feels like its gonna blow up, I'm drowning in mountain piles of laundry and all 3 of my kids are sick too! All in the life of a Night Owl Mama.
I entered a few giveaways to make me feel better til Best buy and Gateway finally fix all the BS wrong with my Brand newGateway lap top just purchased this past Feb. I paid well over a $1000 for it and I'm so ticked off its in the shop for "2-4 weeks We'll call you when it comes back" Due to USB ports falling in, the charger plug stopped working, and some damn BLUE Screen that said "DRIVER-POWER-ERROR something blah blah blah" Kept poppin up. Uuugh!!! I almost cried. What on earth am I gonna do. HEY DELL I need a lap top to review! Sigh..............end rant.
